What is a Digital Media Analyst?
Essentially, a Search Engine sees a link to a page on a website almost like a “vote” for that website. Increasing the number of those great votes from high quality websites, in combination with our other methodologies, helps to bring our clients’ websites to a higher position in Search Engine results pages which leads to more traffic and revenue growth.
As a Digital Media Analyst you will be trained to execute external outreach link building strategies that will create those link opportunities for our client websites.
The role is focused towards outbound call centre/outreach email contact activities to build relationships with websites and their webmasters to encourage them to link from their own sites to our client sites. You will also undertake administrative activities such as desktop research for link opportunities, data entry of research data, verify link listings and update our Digital Media Relationship Management System.
An ideal candidate would have skills in the following areas:
- Outbound call centre and data entry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; copy writing or journalist experience will be highly regarded
- Able to build friendly relations with link prospects via email and phone
- Balance of creative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite & popular web browsers is essential
Initially this role will be for twenty five hours per week and perhaps more as your skills develop and subject to your availability and your interest in completing more hours.
