What does SEO mean to you?
SEO means satisfying customers wants and needs, while also appealing to search engine algorithms. Increasing organic rank on search engines is vitally important driving traffic to websites. Reciprocal value is provided for both parties involved with SEO in the sense that companies increase awareness and connect with their fitting audience, while customers receive information for which they are searching for. Both parties engage in a win-win situation.
Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
Digital marketing is an ever-evolving discipline that appeals to my continual journey of knowledge. Search engine optimization is perfect for me because I enjoy challenging my creative marketing side, while also utilizing my analytical skills of my left brain. I enjoy seeing results, and working with a team to reap the fruits of the labor.
When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?
I truly believe that a “sound body equals a sound mind.” I am a very active person who likes to keep fit playing soccer, and working out at the gym. I have an adventurous personality, so anything that involves an adrenaline rush I am game for.
Three things that make you tick?
1. Pursuit of knowledge and wisdom drives me. I am on a journey and quest to expand and to grow as a person.
2. Setting and achieving goals brings me strong satisfaction. I enjoy the feeling of improvement and accomplishment.
3. A warm cup of tea in the morning.
A full platter of traditional Mexican steak tacos with soft corn tortillas, fine sliced onions, cilantro, topped off with spicy green sauce makes the perfect meal. I can never eat too many tacos.
If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
If I hosted 3 people to have dinner, I would choose Sun Tzu, the ancient Chinese general and philosopher. His wisdom on strategy relates to many contexts in life that I would be fascinated to learn more about. Secondly, I would choose the comedian Dave Chappelle. I think he is the funniest person alive. Last, but not least, I would choose Bruce Lee. I love his movies, and his sense of discipline.
If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?
I would travel up the mountain for a full day of powder. I have been skiing since I was 5 years old, and I love the thrill of carving straight down double black diamond runs.
