Angela Zade – Digital Analyst

60 seconds with Angela Zade….

What does SEO mean to you?
As they say, “Change is the only constant.” To me, SEO is an ever-evolving, digital marketing medium that elevates the power and value of traditional marketing to new heights. SEO improves your website’s visibility and engagement to convert buyers into clients. It requires the same creative and critical thinking as traditional marketing, but with the added advantage of faster campaign fulfillment, strategic experimentation and an ocean of statistical data for deeper analysis.

Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
SEO is sort of a kaleidoscope merging all things I appreciate most about marketing: art, psychology and capital.

Since SEO relies heavily upon great content, I put my creativity to use devising clever CTA’s (call-to-action), services pages, product pages, blog articles, infographics, eBooks, tailoring my strategy toward whomever my targeted audience. My proverbial “voice” – with her flashy imagination and feeble knees – found a place in content marketing on the internet.

I was hooked when I saw real-time data demonstrating high return for relatively low spend. SEO was and remains a revelation for me; marrying my free spirit with business savvy.

When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?
I spoil my irresistible dog with treats. I spoil myself with treats. I also like to traipse around nearby parks, ponds and trails, ride my bicycle, practice yoga, watch movies & tv shows, draw, bake, read or go out to eat.

Three things that make you tick?
I struggle with the concept of daylight savings time, decaffeinated coffee and citrus fruit on a pizza.

Favourite food?
Do they have Chocoholics Anonymous?

If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
Picture this: Me, Chris Farley and Abraham Lincoln at a fine, Italian restaurant while Tina Turner sings acapella Chris and I order everything on the menu, front and back, while honest Abe pities our cholesterol numbers. Chris Farley reminds President Lincoln that he lost practically all political elections he ran in until the presidency. I ask him candidly, “How did you find the strength?”
