|What does SEO mean to you?
In simple words, SEO is an evolving set of techniques that help increase the visibility of your website in search engine results pages- but it is way more than that… Good SEO is a strategy, where the focus is the end user and satisfying their need for information. It’s about building your online presence to capture users at all stages of the buying decision process, engaging and converting them into long-term clients. When done correctly, users will find the solution to their needs with your unique and useful content, naturally attracting them into your purchase funnel.
Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
As marketer and entrepreneur, I love the fact that SEO can open the door of opportunity for any business. The amount of data available to research consumer online behavior and the level of precision you can get from statistical analysis is just fascinating. There is nothing more rewarding to me than delivering cost effective results to my clients.
When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?
I strongly believe that Mind, Body and Spirit balance is key to having a happy and joyful life.
Mind: I set a goal every year to learn something new. This year, I am finishing a web design program. So, I would probably be hanging out at a coffee shop learning something new or sharpening my web design skills.
Body: I am very fortunate to live a block away from the beach. I wake up early in the morning to go for a run at the beach to watch the sunrise.
Spirit: I love reading philosophy. I also participate in an open air yoga class every Sunday.
Three things that make you tick?
My personal motto for this question would be: Music saved my life. Art fulfills my soul. Learning helps me appreciate the good things in life.
I love Mexican food. My favorite dish is enchiladas with handmade mole, turkey meat, sour cream, grated cheese, topped with raw onion.
If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
I would invite Albert Einstein as he developed the theory of relativity and is one of the greatest minds of all times, Alan Watts because he is my favorite philosophers and George Carlin because he is hilarious and his comedy style is very unique.
If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would spend the entire day?
I would take the time to go for an early run at the beach, then grill some steak and hang out with my friends. At night, we would go out to enjoy a fun night-out in Downtown San Diego.
