|What does SEO mean to you?
SEO is a universal language. The more fluent you are, the more people you can communicate with. It doesn’t matter how awesome your message is if you can’t communicate it to your end user. SEO is the bride that brings together your message to the end user.
Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
I love how humbling it is. No matter how much of a ‘guru’ you are, there is always something to learn. I enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and having to adapt.
When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?
I love hosting get-togethers, with lots of wine, delicious food and people I love.
Three things that make you tick?
My family is #1 in my life. No matter where I go or what I do, they are always cheering me on. I grew up in a large family, surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It’s a built in support system that offers unconditional love and support. I also love the ocean. There is something calming, yet invigorating about the sea. Third is travel. Not all who wander are lost. I’ve been blessed to have been to some pretty cool places. The more places I go, and experience new and different cultures, the more I see at the basic level how alike we are.
Thai! I could eat it every day and never get sick of it.
If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
My paternal grandfather is the first person. He passed before I was born. He was an engineer who changed the town he was born in. He has a library named after him in Dominican Republic. The second is Don Miguel Ruiz. His book, the Four Agreements, changed my life. The third is Marcus Lemonis. I love how he completely transforms business, while building relationships along the way.
If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?
I would spend the day at the beach with my girls and husband, watching the girls splash and play, while my husband and I sip an ice cold beer.
